How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?

Lucky enough to train with great people and just try to keep the end goal in mind.

Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?

It takes me a really long time to get going so just make sure the warm up and everything goes for as much time as I need. After that, I just try take my mind off it and talk as much as I can, and try get caffeinated pre-race to dial in.

Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?

Australian Swim Win, and also the podiums I've gotten in Irons (Sadly no Australian win yet).

Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?

 School swimming breastroke champion 5 years in a row.

Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?

Just time with the boys and spending all my spare time recovering at RMC. Most surprising thing to people is that I study Law, since I don't really come off that way.

How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?

I find that if you enjoy what your doing and it means enough, you'll find a way. Also a lot of help from my family, really nothing without them.
