How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?

For me motivation comes from my love for the sport. The squad I have around me make it easy to come to training and have a good time while putting the work in. my Goals I want to achieve within the sport also help me but it isn’t always about the end result it is also the steps it takes to get their and the people around you that help you get there.

Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?

I don’t really have any pre-race rituals, Just get a good warm up in and be ready to race.

Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?

One of the most memorable moments in my career would have to be qualifying for my first professional series over the last year, it has given me great experience within the sport, I also have fond memory’s of my Australian titles in Board relays with my home club Trigg Island.

Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?

I think I terms of milestones moving to the gold coast would be a good one as it has made me into a better athlete and helped me tale steps in the port I wouldn’t of had the opportunity to take if I had stayed in Perth.

Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?

Being a university student would be the second thing that take up most my time and can sometime be a good alternative to training to give myself something else to focus on.

How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?

I try to balance them by just giving time to both areas and focusing on one thing at a time.

What are your top 3 ENGINE products (either for racing or training)?

The ENGINE Iron for their durability and performance, the ENGINE swim caps for their fit and comfort, and the ENGINE goggles for their clarity and reliability in various water conditions. These products are essential for my training and competitions, providing the support and quality I need to perform at his best.
