What’s your favourite thing about competing?
The feeling you get when you are racing is indescribable. Then the excitement at the end of your race knowing you have bettered yourself. As well as the community around the sport you get to see every time you race.
Who is your role model and why?
I have many role models, one them being Grant Hackett. His success in the sport at such a young age and then through the rest of his career is something I aspire for. As well as being a leader of the Australian team.

Walk us through your routine of getting ‘in the zone’ before a major event / race.

Winning 50/100/200 Breastroke Age Nationals 2022
Winning 100 Freestyle Australian Age Nationals 2022
Going into this season, what’s your number one goal?

It’s the night before a big competition... what’s your must-have meal?
I tend to go for one of three choices, either a chicken Parmi, a steak or big bowl of pasta.
What’s your favourite song to listen to before competing or during training?
I have a few go-to’s on my playlist but one of them is Back in Black by ACDC.
What makes Engine products different from other gear out on the market?
The community that creates them, the trust I have in them that they are going to perform as well as the feeling I get wearing them and proudly representing engine.
What’s your crucial Engine product(s) and why?
There are a lot of engine products that I rely on. When I race it would have to be the bullet suit, as they feel amazing when I race, are comfortable and I know they will always feel good in them. Outside of racing I love my puffer and wear it all the time however I don’t rely upon it as I do with the race suit.
