How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?
I have goals I strive towards and I have a good team around me that help me Archive those goals.
Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?
I like to have a a stretch and have a good warm up then come back to the tent and listen to some pump up music and chat with the boys and my coaches.
Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?
Representing Australia at the World Youth Championships in Italy and winning several medals. Making my first Australian open team and receiving my cap number and blazer to compete in the German Cup.
Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?
I surf and fish with my mates.
How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?
Comes down to time management. Having two jobs outside of sport I live a very busy life. So planning each week out makes it much easier.
What are your top 3 ENGINE products (either for racing or training)?
Shredskin Pro, Weapon Goggles and Puffer jacket. These 3 are my favourite as they all are so versatile.
