How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?
I am able to stay motivated because of the goals I set at the start of the season and wanting to achieve them, this then also allows me to work hard to achieve those goals. Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?
On race day I just talk to my friends or go on my phone which helps me not then overthink the races to come. Before Finals day I also have to make sure I have a good pair of green clear googles as I have a weird theory they help me race better.Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?
My most memorable moment would be Perth 2023 Aussies u15 medalling in 6 out of 7 events. Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?
In u14 getting 3rd in iron at Aussies, getting this result helped me stay in the sport as I had decided to quit after the season but this result helped me not quit.
How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?
I think just finding the balance is key for me I am very lucky that my friends outside of surf will work around my training times so we are still able to see each other.
