How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?

I stay motivated by surrounding myself with people who have set goals and always push me to achieve my best. I also stay motivated through my enjoyment of the sport.

Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?

I like to do some dry land before swim carnivals so I know I'm as warmed up as I can be.

Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?

I think winning the 200 Free at Nationals in 2021 was a very defining moment for me. Also winning the board relay in 2023 with my team.

Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?

When I won the Iron and Swim in 2022 gave me so much confidence as an athlete due to my not so great season in the pool and so it really pushed me going into the next season.

Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?

I really enjoy art, especially drawing charcoal portraits.

How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?

I always make the time for seeing friends and going to social events as I know personally it keeps my overall happiness up as a person and allows me to keep enjoying my sport.

What are your top 3 ENGINE products (either for racing or training)?

1. Santorinis

2. Backpack Pro

3. Weapon Goggles (a must for in the pool and for surf races)
