How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?

The surge of endorphins I feel during training serves as my motivation, along with diversifying my training routine to keep it enjoyable.

Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?

I don't so much as have a set routine but I've always had the superstition 'look good, feel good'. Whether that be getting my nails done the day before or wearing a bow in my hair, I find it gives me the confidence to go out and race hard.

Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?

Debuting on my first ever Open Australian Life Saving Team at the age of 16 and getting to race internationally in the UK.

Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?

Being a two time member of the Open Australian Royal Life Saving team and getting the opportunity to race internationally at the Commonwealth Championship Of Lifesaving. These team trips have changed my perspective on Surf Life Saving as a sport and has made me aware of the fundamental values it upholds. Its made me extremely grateful for the opportunities and avenues Australian athletes have offered to them and has shed a light on the importance of sharing our skills and knowledge to developing nations.

Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?

I own two rental businesses and have a degree in Cainine Physiotherapy.

How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?

To balance all my commitments I've developed a good skill of multitasking my commitments to optimise my free time. I also thrive off writing 'to-do' lists everyday to ensure I achieve all my set tasks.

What are your top 3 ENGINE products (either for racing or training)?

1. Stainless Steel Waterbottle - keeps ice solid all day + water remains at a consistent temperature.

2. Backpack Pro - perfect size to fit all my training essentials.

3. Santorini swimwear - ideal training and racing bather.
