Where It All Started

I first joined nippers at west beach when I was 5 in u6s. I loved board paddling and flags. I hated swimming in the ocean and it took many of the age group managers to help me get through my red path proficiency swim (though I was an ok swimmer in the pool). But each year I had to do it so that I could paddle boards. I remember standing on the line for a swim teams crying because I was so scared but did it anyways because I didn't want to let my team down. Since then I have been racing in all disciplines and focused more on the water events once I got to u14s.

The Journey Nobody Sees

I think just being consistent, working on my weaknesses, and trying to make everything enjoyable. In winter (especially in Adelaide) it's not always the most pleasant conditions for training but you've got to remember your goals and why you do it. Our tight knit squad at west beach has always kept me honest and makes training a lot easier in winter when I'm freezing, I know i'm not the only one.

Your Greatest Moments

State titles 2026: Win in the Open taplin, Swim teams, Board relay, Singe ski, iron. Swimming SC states 2025: 3rd 200m freestyle (was great to see how far i'd come in my swimming and gave me confidence for the surf season ahead). 5th u15 board race - Aussies 2025 + 3rd 2km ocean swim.

Beyond the Sport

My main Hobbies and passions outside of sport are: Videography, surfing, hiking, spending time in nature, fashion.
