1. How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?
I stay motivated and push myself by knowing what I want to achieve and work on in the session, and enjoying challenges with my friends.
Before a swimming race I jump as high as I can and I slap my legs to warm them up and always check the block.
Before a surf race I check my goggles and condition of the waters, and tell myself what the course is for the race.
Winning my first individual gold medal in the Surf Race at State Junior Championships 2024, helped me to believe that I had done enough training to put myself at the front of the races, which ended up with me winning 7 Gold medals and 10 overall medals.
Winning my Surf Clubs most outstanding competitor which has had other current successful open athletes on it.
I enjoy running, sprinting, long distance and cross country. I am also really interested in nutrition and how it helps you to perform.
I like to be fully organised with my schedule so I can spend time with my friends and family. I like to map out competitions and training so I can plan my days. I even get Google clock to set timers to help me stay on track.
