How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?

The girls at Trigg SLS make it so easy to want to go to training. We all share a love for the sport and push each other to be the best we can be.

Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?

Music in the tent with the girls of Trigg at carnivals is a must, it takes my mind off the nerves and gets me excited to race, Free from Desire is a personal favourite.

Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most
memorable or defining moment?

My most memorable moment so far was winning the open board relay at the WA
2023 state championships, it wasn’t just the win but the girls of Trigg island taking out all the podium places. I felt so lucky to be a part of a club with so many girls that shared the same love for the sport.

Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly
proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an

My first interstate trip in 2022 to represent the Western Suns at Maroubra was a significant milestone for me as it was one of my major goals and to represent my
state while racing among the best was such an amazing experience.

How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with
personal interests outside of your sport?

I have a very organised routine during the week which always makes time for a
relaxed weekend catching up with friends, having Yo-chi is a must.

What are your top 3 ENGINE products (either for racing or training)?

My Puffer that never fails to keep me warm, my pink Bullet Goggles to add some
colour, and my Shredskin racers to help me feel and race my best at competitions.
