How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?
What keeps me motivated to go to training is having goals and expectations I keep for myself, as well as having a good group of friends that make me want to go.
Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?
Usually having music under the tent playing, and just socialising trying to keep the nerves down.
Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?
My most memorable moment was the Perth Aussies, placing 2 with my team, as well as overcoming my shoulder injury which stopped me from doing a lot of training but still placing top ten in the swim as doing well in the iron.
Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?
Memorable moments for me would just be the racing experience with such a good age group of girls, hugging after each race and constant laughs just making it such a fun environment.
Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?
I'm sure like everyone else I love going to the beach and going on day trips down south, a job id love to pursue is being a real estate agent.
How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?
My training schedule is typically stays the same, so whenever I'm not training I'm always out socialising.
