WARM UP #1.
10 Alt. toe touches (reaches)
10 Scap push ups (pause 2sec top and bottom)
20 Alt. hip taps in push up position (roller or bottle on back – hips and shoulders to remain level).
10 Glute bridges (2sec pause at top, 10sec hold last rep)
10 Single leg calf raises
10 Alt. Cossacks (side lunges)
Originally from Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, Jaime has been a Crossfit coach and Personal trainer for upwards of 7 years. She studied a Bachelor of Exercise Science at AUT University and Jaime continued her study through various nutrition, mobility, kids, weightlifting and strongman qualifications and certificates.
As an athlete she has performed on the world stage in both CrossFit and Orienteering – with career highlights of 2x CrossFit Games appearances. She has also competed in both athletics and gymnastics to a national/representative level.
Jaime’s passion for coaching took her from New Zealand to Australia – and most recently to Abu Dhabi (The UAE in the Middle East), where she was head-hunted for a coaching and PT role at the country’s most reputable strength and conditioning facility. Here she spent 18 months working alongside an elite team of coaches and athletes where, in her words, she gained a huge amount of hands-on experience and knowledge. Now back in Melbourne Jaime is working with the reputable and trustworthy Engine Swim brand and couldn’t be more excited.
She is particularly aligned with prehab/rehab programes and helping athletes and the general population to understand how their body works and how to maximise their potential.
