How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?
I stay motivated through surrounding myself with likeminded people who are also determined to reach their goals.
Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?
I like to chat to friends to help myself stay relaxed and calm pre-race.Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?
A highlight of my career so far would be coming 2nd in Pier to Pub and winning 3 gold medals at States in 2023 in the 200fr, 400fr and 800fr.
Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?
Being apart of Team Vic for 7 years and being selected as Team Captain in my final year.
Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?
Outside swimming I'm studying a Bachelor of Sport Management / Sport and Exercise Science. I also love spending time with friends and family, and shopping!How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?
By having a routine but also allowing myself to have rest days where I prioritise recovery.
