How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?
Having a strong training group that pushes you every day and also knowing in your mind that hard work get results.
Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?
Try and stay calm & relaxed, stretch and prepare for a good warm up in the surf.
Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?
Winning the Youth pathways Ironman at the Interstate Championships for NSW at Maroubra Beach. More recently winning the U15 Ironman Shannon Eckstein Classic.
Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?
Being selected to represent NSW two years in a row in the Interstate Championships Youth Pathways Surf Life Saving Team.
Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?
I like surfing, diving, spearfishing and golf.
How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?
It's pretty hard, sometimes golf on a Sunday afternoon if there is no surf carnivals, mainly other sports in winter.
What are your top 3 ENGINE products (either for racing or training)?
My Engine Royal Iron 3 jammers - love the colour, super comfortable. Weapon Goggles - best goggles on the market & my Deck Parka Lite - so warm for those cold windy days on the beach.
