How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?

For me I like to refer back to my three W's. I like to refer back to my why, Why I am swimming and my goals are. Then my whats, What do I have to do to achieve these goals. Lastly my who's, these are the people who are around me to support me and are always there to encourage me.

Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?

For me I don't really have a pre race ritual but before I race I always like to have had a good night sleep and had a good warm up.

Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?

Probably coming fourth at my first ever state sprints and school boys. Just missing medals and teams made me hungry and chasing.

Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?

Other than swimming I love a good bit of fishing, outdooring and listening to music.

How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?

I try as best I can to incorporate some down time throughout my week by just chilling out listening to music or fishing. I am extremely grateful to have a supportive family which makes life a lot easier.

What are your top 3 ENGINE products (either for racing or training)?
