How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?

I stay motivated and push myself in training by setting achievable goals for each session and constantly reminding myself of why I started and what I'm working towards. This allows me to make the most out of each session and stay consistent with my training.

Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?

My pre race rituals would be having the same breakfast the morning of every carnival, packing the same bag of lollies for each carnival and doing 8 arm swings each time.

Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?

My most memorable moment would be winning the 2025 U17 Ironman Final at Aussies.

Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?

Winning the 2025 U17 Ironman Final at Aussies is probably my proudest moment as it was my first individual gold medal at Aussies and this has impacted me by motivating me for this season pushing me to come back better next year.

Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?

I don't really have any hobbies but if I had to say something, it would be playing fortnite with some of the other Wanda boys

How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?

I balance training with personal interests by making sure that I have a wind down period after each session where I focus on anything other than training, whether that be playing fortnite with mates or getting food after training. This helps me to make sure that I'm balancing my training and personal life.

What are your top 3 ENGINE products (either for racing or training)?

1. Weapon Goggles - must have for pool and surf training

2. Iron Jammer 3 - I wear these to every carnival and they are always reliable

3. Club Cut Pool Cossies  - Essential for all pool sessions
