Where It All Started

My first year of nippers in U10’s, at the first carnival I struggled to make it around the cans in the surf race and finished pretty much last. By the end of that season I finished 4th at States and that’s when I knew I wanted to swim!!

The Journey Nobody Sees

On days when everything feels tough and I’m feeling overwhelmed with school work & training, I remind myself how much I love this sport & what it means to me. I know the guidance and support of my coaches, teammates & family will help get me to where I want to be.

Your Greatest Moments

Winning the Iron final at States in my first year in youth was exciting & making the Surf Race final at Aussies this year and finishing 8th was a big thrill, but I’m most proud of winning back to back Bronze medals in the Girls 5km at Open Water Nationals in WA the past two years.

Beyond the Sport

When I’m not training or competing, I enjoy cooking and preparing some of my meals for the week. I really enjoy listening to music and I love playing netball to give my mind & body a break from swimming.
