Oceania Eustace
Where It All Started
When i was younger my parents signed me up for Nemos. From then on i was obsessed with all thing's ocean and surf club. My first ever training as a nemo my coach and parents couldn't get me out of the water and off my board. Since then i have loved the sport and cherish all the friendships and connections i have made within the sport.
The Journey Nobody Sees
When i was younger i played alot of sports as a kid: wakeboarding, basketball, soccer the list goes on. But the real passion was Surf Sports. I grew up in a small state called Tasmania its cold and very isolated, a place where Surf Sports isn't massive. I believe the brutal trainings in the cold, the mornings and extras you put in alone is what built my determination and resilience as an athlete. Although during this time i started learning that to be the best athlete doesn't mean you are physically the fittest person on the beach. But you also have to be just as mentally fit, as the intensity and time that goes into Surf Sports is massive. Trying to find a balance can be hard. But when you surrounded yourself with the right people and become confident and comfortable in your own skin its when your personal growth as an athlete exceeds. Today as an Athlete my mindset has shifted alot compared to 2 years ago. This is due to loss in my life and also wins in my life, both these losses and gains have taught me alot in my personal life and my perspective on life as an athlete this i am very thankful for as i am proud of the athlete i am today.
Your Greatest Moments

Along with cross-fit in the gym, i love community gyms and the atmosphere they bring. I also love to bake, every iron session during the week i bring my team mates my homemade cookies. I am studying at University. I love all things food related and to practice gratitude. I journal every day to practice my gratitude i find this helps me keep balance in my very busy life.
