MATT POOLE WORLD CHAMPION

Matt Poole has had a sensational result taking out the World Championships in the technical prone paddleboard event at the 2016 ISA World Championships yesterday.

Contested at Cloudbreak in Fiji, Matt had a strong performance in the semi to progress to the highly competitive final in the 3km event. 

Rounding the course in a lightning fast time of 18:50,59 to take the GOLD, He was closely followed by team mate Lachie Lansdown who came away with silver and bronze going to Scott Cowdrey from New Zealand.
