Where It All Started
I remember my immediate love of the ocean when my family took me to Cronulla Beach when I was about 4 or 5 years of age. It immediately became my happy place that allowed me to connect and enjoy all the elements of the surf. The freedom in catching waves and the adrenalin that comes with it was so infectious
The Journey Nobody Sees
I have drawn upon so many inspirational people who have shaped me into the athlete I am today. From family, to friends, to training partners, to mentors and coaches. I also enjoy gaining insight from current and former professional athletes in the same chosen sports through listening to their stories via podcasts and reading biographies. All possessing the same traits I try and shape myself as an athlete today. Those traits being hard working, grit, resiliency and perseverance
Your Greatest Moments
Being the first World Ocean Series Golden Ticket winner to win an Open Final which occurred at Sunset 10,000 in Surf Race. Also being a 5 x Surf Life Saving Australian Champion. In the pool, being a bronze medalist at the National Age Championships. In Open Water, being 2 x bronze medalist at National Open Water Championships. And finally being a member of the NSW Surf Life Saving Team at Interstate Championships for the past 4 years.
Beyond the Sport
Outside of surf and swim training and competition, I enjoy chilling out watching a good movie or Netflix series. Also socialising with friends either going on walks or eating out at local restaurants/cafes. I love listening to all types of music artists which allows me to relax. Billy Joel is my favourite
