Where It All Started

Growing up, my family and I spent countless days at the beach. My parents understood the importance of being confident and safe in the water, so they enrolled my brother in Nippers. Although I was too young to join at the time, nothing could stop me from following him. I tagged along with his group despite being two years younger than the minimum age requirement, determined to be part of it. From that moment on, my connection with the ocean only grew stronger, and I've never been able to turn away from it.

The Journey Nobody Sees

So many people have contributed to the athlete I am today, and I will always be grateful for the time, effort, and love they have invested in me. My family has sacrificed so much of their time to support me, caring for me and showing up to every competition. My friends have been by my side through every success and setback, while my coaches have taught me the importance of hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

Your Greatest Moments

One of the achievements I am most proud of is my board rescue success with my partner, Niamh Sharpe. Together, we have won gold at the Country Championships, State Titles, Aussies, and the World Championships. Throughout these competitions, we raced against a variety of different competitors and were still able to come out on top, making it one of my proudest achievements. Another achievement I’m proud of was tying for first in the Next Gen Iron Series and narrowly losing on a count back. Although it still stings a little, I’m incredibly proud of the effort I put into that event and everything I achieved along the way.

Beyond the Sport

I believe it's important to maintain a healthy balance between sport and life. Outside of training and competition, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love surfing, reading, cooking and baking, camping, and going on hikes (as long as they're not too steep!). More recently, I've taken up sewing, and I also enjoy drawing in my spare time.
